Follow this guide to create a ShoppingGives account - once at the sign up page, select Sign Up with Facebook as seen below:
How It Works
First, you will shop with one of our impact partners, select a cause, and place an order.
Once the order has been placed and a donation has been generated, either the donation confirmation window will pop up or you will receive an additional email confirmation to your inbox.
From here, you can track your donations in your ShoppingGives Shopper account.
If you do not already have an account, you can create one from this email by selecting “Track Your Donation History”.
This is also where you would choose to share your purchase on social media!
Once you select which social media profile you want to share your purchase to, you will be redirected to either Facebook or Twitter (whichever account you selected) and a pre-generated post will appear for your review before the post is sent.
The text of the post will read, “(retailer’s name) donated to (nonprofit’s name) at no extra cost to me! Every donation matters— Shop (retailer’s name), choose your favorite cause, and make your purchase have a positive impact! Shop (link to retailer’s website)”.
