      Migrate to Our Updated POS Integration with Shopify's Smart Grid

      We are excited to announce the migration to our new Point of Sale (POS) integration utilizing Shopify's Smart Grid.

      To assist with this transition as a Shopify merchant who is already utilizing our existing POS integration, follow the steps outlined below to complete the quick migration process:

      1. On your POS device, delete/remove your current ShoppingGives POS tile. This can be completed by tapping and holding the tile until it shakes and then clicking the "X". In the example below, we are deleting the "Add On Donation" tile:

      2. Add a new Smart Grid tile following the "Add tiles" steps outlined by Shopify here. When prompted with the "Add tile" menu, choose "App" and then "ShoppingGives":

      3. Add the app and following the steps for "App extensions". Save.

      When configuring and activating campaigns for POS, our current support is as follows:
      Campaign Supported?
      Store Donations Y
      Round Up Donations (pre-checkout) Y, with the donation amount based on an order's "Subtotal"
      Add-On Donations Y, but requires the Store Donations campaign be activated at POS in conjunction*

      *A standalone POS Add-On Donations campaign is forthcoming, but not available yet.
